Job Description

Electrical Engineer, Dumbarton, Dayshift £19.85 per hour, Nightshift Static Site Opportunity!

Two Week Rotational Shifts!

Electrical Engineer required to work for a global energy services supplier on a static site based in Dumbarton. The Electrical Engineer will work as part of a team handling the electrical assembly of large generator sets and have a background in the automative industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of a team with mechanical fitters and semi-skilled fitters to assemble generator sets
  • Ensure all plant and electrical equipment is maintained to minimum legal standard
  • Ensure health and safety procedures are always maintained
  • Working with 3 phase supply and wiring control panels

Requirements:

  • SVQ/NVQ Level 3 qualification.
  • Able to interpret electrical schematics and instrumentation drawings
  • Must have a background in automotive industry
  • Experience working in an industrial/manufacturing environment (desirable).
  • 17th or 18th edition electrical qualification (desirable)
