Electrical Design Engineer
Outside IR35
Location: Edinburgh or Dalgety
Rate: 45ph- 50ph
Contract: 3+ months
On-site: 5 days per week

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team on a 3+ month contract, working on-site at either our Edinburgh or Dalgety locations. This position is outside IR35 and offers a competitive hourly rate of 45- 50ph.

As part of the team, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality electrical designs, including single line diagrams and cable block diagrams. You’ll also work on P&IDs, instrumentation documentation, control philosophies, functional design specifications, and I/O schedules.

Key requirements:

  • Proven experience in the Water or Process Industry
  • Strong understanding of electrical design principles
  • Ability to work with control philosophies and functional design specifications
  • Experience with P&IDs, I/O schedules, and instrumentation documentation

This role requires full-time on-site work for 5 days a week, so we are looking for candidates who are local or willing to travel to Edinburgh or Dalgety.
