Are you an experienced EH&S professional looking to step into a role where you can genuinely influence culture?
This is an opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business where safety, quality, and continuous improvement are taken seriously. You ll work closely with the EH&S Manager and wider teams to drive standards, improve systems, and ensure compliance across the site.
The Role
You ll play a key part in supporting and developing EH&S systems, while working closely with teams across the business to embed a proactive safety culture.
Day to day, you will:
- Support the development and implementation of EH&S policies and procedures
- Provide hands-on advice to teams to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice
- Lead and support internal audits, risk assessments, and improvement actions
- Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Deliver EH&S training, toolbox talks, and guidance across the site
- Support the development of risk registers and compliance tracking
- Help drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business
What We re Looking For
- Experience in an EH&S role within a manufacturing environment
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
- Good understanding of UK EH&S legislation (COSHH, PUWER, DSEAR etc.)
- Experience working with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage at all levels
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a genuine interest in improving safety
