Responsibilities
- Work within the Department of Clinical Biochemistry as part of a team in the busy specimen reception area performing a range of tasks including opening mail, bar coding request forms and samples, assisting in the preparation of samples for analysis, and other pre- and post-analytical tasks.
- Participate in rota to provide Saturday morning support between 09:00 and 13:00, and one evening per week.
Qualifications
- The successful applicant should be able to work under pressure, have good communication skills, and possess a scientific or administrative qualification to SVQ level 3.
