Job Description

Early Years Practitioner – Fixed term until 02/10/2026

St Mark’s Early Learning and Childcare

Salary: £30,188 – £34,452 per year

Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks

Job Description

  • Lead and support children aged 3-5 years old within four playrooms.
  • Work a shift pattern between 07:45 and 18:00.
  • Collaborate with experienced practitioners to deliver high quality early years education.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Significant recent experience working within a nursery environment with children 3-5 years old.
  • Strong skills to work alongside experienced practitioners.
  • Must be able to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 scheme or undergo an update check; submit an Overseas Criminal Record Check if required.
