Job Overview

Delivery Driver – 7.5 ton vehicle (C1 licence required). Based in Kilmarnock, we need a driver for Mon-Fri 07:30-17:00, 42 hours per week. Flexible hours including job shares or amended hours are considered. You will drive a 3.5 ton flatbed van delivering hire equipment locally and act as the face of the business.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5 ton flatbed van delivering hire equipment around the local area.
• Adhere to safety, delivery schedules and company policies.
• Represent the company’s vision, mission and values in customer interactions.
• Support the business unit/team to deliver the ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Requirements

• Full UK manual driving licence (C1) with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Good knowledge of the local area.
• Strong customer focus.
• Experience driving within the UK.
• Upbeat, independent and self motivated.
• People skill orientation and friendly communication.
• Ability to walk long periods and work outdoors in any weather.
• Strong sense of community and pride in work.
