Job Description

You will be aconfident and competent driverwith knowledge of the capabilities and functioning of the 9 seater vehicle. You will havestrong social and communication skillsand will have to be willing to apply and gain PVG membership.

The role is tosafely transport Black Isle pupilsto/from St Clement’s School in Dingwall. Working with a pupil escort, you will provide asecure and friendly environmentfor these pupils who have special educational needs and disabilities. The role also carries responsibility for ensuring theroad worthinessof the vehicle.

Communities in Motion CT (CiMCT) already delivers a highly valued community transport service (Wee Ferintosh Bus)and specialises in‘home to destination‘ transport. CiMCT, currently a team of 22 (employees, volunteer drivers and trustees), aspires to expand its community transport service toBlack Isle residents. In partnership with The Highland Council, this pupil transport service begins to meet that aspiration and further expansion would provide the successful applicant with the possibility of furthercareer development.

The role will provide the successful applicant with a strongsense of rewardtogether with the opportunity to join acommunity teamdedicated to the safe, customised transport of its residents.
