Job Description
Position
Domestic Assistant/Porter – clinics and departments at Melburn Lodge.
Working Hours & Schedule
- Shift patterns: 4 x 30 hours, 1 x 15 hours, 1 x 19.73 hours, 1 x 24 hours.
- Full time: 36 hours per week (effective 1 April 2026).
- Part time hours pro rata.
Responsibilities & Competencies
- Demonstrate high competence in domestic cleaning activities.
- Show flexibility and adaptability to varying shift patterns.
- Apply knowledge of the NHS Borders Behavioural Framework.
Legal & Eligibility
The role requires an appropriate right to work in the United Kingdom. If assessed as a regulated role, the appointment will be subject to the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme.
