Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the out-loading and distribution functions across both sites
- Deliver departmental and business performance goals
- Identify and implement cost saving opportunities
- Manage supplier and haulage relationships effectively
- Act as a key point of contact between departments, particularly Production
- Lead, support, and develop Team Managers to maximise team performance
- Support recruitment activities including interviewing new team members
- Cover Distribution Manager and Team Manager shifts where required
- Provide hands on support on the factory floor during peak periods
Skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Effective problem solving and decision making skills
- Logical planning and organisational capability
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under pressure
- Experience in distribution, logistics, or a similar fast paced environment
- Forklift experience is desirable (training can be provided)

Tuesday to Saturday dayshift
