Dispensing Optician

Location: Penicuik

Salary: £28,000 – £33,000 per annum

Our client, a fully independent business, is expanding and seeking dedicated professionals to be part of their exciting new venture in Penicuik.

This state-of-the-art facility will feature cutting-edge optical technology, providing an exceptional work environment for those who are committed to delivering top-notch patient care.

The Role

As a Dispensing Optician, you ll join a forward-thinking team that values patient-centred care above all. The practice combines traditional, personalized service with the latest innovations in eye care. You ll have access to advanced equipment, including:

  • iProfiler Plus
  • Zeiss Humphrey Visual Fields
  • OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography)
  • Ultra-Wide Field Retinal Imaging
  • Visuphor 500

Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Ophthalmic Dispensing
  • Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
  • Legal eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • A genuine passion for delivering excellent patient care

  • One Saturday off per month, with all practices closed Saturday afternoons and Sundays
