We welcome applications from qualified dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who are eager to begin their career as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
Location: Mearns Cross, Unit 1 The Avenue At Mearns, Mearns Cross, Glasgow, G77 6EY, United Kingdom
Hours: 20 hours per week over 3 days. Two candidates will fill the role. One candidate works Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday; the other works Thursday, Friday, Saturday (shifts alternated).
Salary: £13.80 per hour for dispensers, £13.00 per hour for trainee pharmacy assistants, depending on age.
Responsibilities:
- Support the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment
- Deliver exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary
- Ensure customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism
- Maintain high standards of presentation and merchandising
Qualifications and Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin a pharmacy career as a trainee pharmacy assistant
- No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service
- Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team or independently
- Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Open to training in additional services
