Position: Nurse Manager – Oncology Clinical Department, Avera Cancer Institute, Aberdeen, South Dakota.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage medical oncology staff and lead interdisciplinary team coordination.
- Facilitate communication and operational efficiencies among departments.
- Resolve patient and team member complaints and concerns.
- Oversee daily operations of the oncology clinic, including scheduling and resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with nursing education and experience in a clinical setting.
- Significant clinical experience, including at least six years on a medical floor and experience in medical oncology established in 2021.
- Leadership experience as a nurse manager or similar role.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
