We are excited to announce an opportunity for an apprentice to join our dynamic team. As an apprentice, you will provide essential digital and administrative support, ensuring a smooth running of business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Document control through digital archiving and file management on company intranet
  • Become a superuser of Business Central when dealing with front end purchase ordering
  • Co-ordinate room booking systems, including setting up meeting rooms and manage diaries accordingly on Microsoft Outlook
  • Organise and set up meetings via Microsoft Teams
  • Attend meetings and take minutes/notes
  • Maintain clear and efficient administrative procedures
  • Ensure security standards are adhered to including issuing ID badges and fob keys
  • Conduct research of best practice on Microsoft Edge and report back to line manager of findings

Salary:

£16,000 per annum

Working week:

37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 9am – 5pm, Friday 9am – 4:30pm

Future progression:

On-the-job training will be provided. Should you perform well, you will have the opportunity to move into a permanent position. Also, upon completion of your apprenticeship, as your role and responsibilities grow, your salary will reflect this.

Throughout your learning journey, you are fully supported by your dedicated QA skills coach and your mentor at work. They ensure you settle in, help you develop all the skills you need to be successful in your job role and pass your assessments, and can provide one to one support.

Starting with insights into your current potential, they plan your growth in a programmatic way, close skills gaps with immersive training and ensure what you learn is applicable to what you do. They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
