Modern Apprentice in Digital Applications

Key Details
- Location: Kirkland’s, NHSL Headquarters, Bothwell.
- Wage: Band 3 (£29,103 – £31,409).
- Duration: Fixed term post for 12 months from 1 September. Part time hours available with pro rata salary.
- Eligibility: years old on 1 August 2026 (or up to 29 years for applicants with a disability or who are care experienced) and able to demonstrate that they can work to SCQF level 5 (National 5 level).

What we are looking for
- Motivated individuals: Highly motivated and committed individuals eager to join our Modern Apprenticeship Programme.
- Skills: Strong communication, positive approach to work, basic knowledge of IT systems, and the ability to understand various procedures and processes.
- Interest: A particular interest in digital applications and IT roles, coupled with a positive attitude towards work and professional development.
Duties as a Digital Apprentice may include
- Support the day to day activities of the Digital Directorate, ensuring work tasks are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Assist with responding to routine enquiries, service requests and support tickets, escalating issues appropriately when required.
- Support the preparation and distribution of reports, presentations, training materials and other documentation as required.
- Participate in team meetings, project activities and service improvement work to support Directorate objectives.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records, documentation, databases and digital systems in line with local procedures and data quality requirements.
- Organise and prioritise workload effectively to support team and service objectives.
- Develop knowledge and skills across a range of Digital functions through practical experience, formal training and completion of apprenticeship learning modules.
No Prior Experience Necessary
This apprenticeship welcomes applicants with limited work experience, including school leavers.
