Job Description

Role

Are you a skilled dietitian with the passion and energy to demonstrate excellence in supporting children – and their families and carers – who are impacted by diagnosed eating disorders, and by other mental health and neurodevelopmental diagnoses impacting on eating behaviour, dietary intake and nutritional status? This role is based in Specialist Children’s Services, focused on delivering person centred, trauma informed care and compassionate support throughout the child’s and family’s recovery journey. You will be required to be innovative in practice, communicate effectively and compassionately with children, young people, their families, and partner agencies.

  • Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00
  • Please note the salary is pro rate for part time hours

Key Responsibilities

An exciting part of this role is the quality improvement focus. You will be encouraged to develop robust, evidence based screening and assessment processes, therapeutic tools and targeted support methodologies. You will engage in collaborative learning, coaching and mentoring with colleagues across the team, and contribute to the development of an effective clinical supervision and reflective practice network.

Qualifications

HCPC registered dietitian with experience in realistic medicine and person centred care. Experience in mental health or children and young people services is preferable, but all experience will be considered.
