About Us

Inverclyde Amateur Swimming Club (Inverclyde ASC) is the only competitive age group swimming club in Inverclyde. We are committed to providing opportunities and resources for every swimmer to reach their full potential within a friendly, inclusive and supportive environment. Our aim is not simply to produce champions, but to create an environment in which champions are inevitable.

Formed in 1978 through the merger of Greenock ASC and Port Glasgow Baths ASC, the club builds on a strong history of success across Scottish and GB swimming, including national champions and national team representatives.

We continue this legacy through high-quality coaching, with a focus on water skills, water safety and competitive performance, while supporting swimmers from grassroots through to competition.

Our dedicated coaching team and Management Committee are committed to continually developing the club and providing the best possible environment for swimmers across Inverclyde and the surrounding areas.
