We’re looking for a Developer who enjoys building practical solutions and working in a collaborative, client focused environment. If you’re motivated by solving real problems, delivering high quality systems and contributing across a variety of projects, you’ll feel right at home here.

As a Developer at PDMS, you’ll design, build and enhance bespoke solutions for national and international clients across a range of sectors. Working mainly with .NET technologies in a Microsoft centric environment, you’ll contribute to both new projects and the ongoing enhancement of established platforms.

You’ll work closely with analysts, testers, developers and delivery managers to deliver reliable, high quality systems that support modern digital services. It’s a role for someone who enjoys collaborating with others, solving meaningful problems and building practical solutions that support real business needs.

What you’ll be doing

• Design, build and support high quality software solutions within a Microsoft centric environment
• Work with a variety of clients across different industries to create bespoke systems that solve real business problems
• Contribute to new projects while improving and enhancing existing applications
• Develop new features and deliver change requests to extend and improve systems
• Help ensure applications remain reliable and effective for the people who use them
• Take ownership of your work and provide clear, realistic delivery estimates
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture where knowledge is shared and ideas are welcomed
• Use modern development tools to support productivity and code quality while focusing on thoughtful development

What you’ll bring Essential

• Commercial experience designing, building and supporting software within a Microsoft centric environment using C#, .NET and MSSQL
• Experience delivering bespoke solutions across multiple projects or client environments
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into clear technical solutions
• A proactive problem solver who takes ownership, identifies risks early and removes blockers
• Front-end development experience using Angular or similar frameworks, with TypeScript, HTML and CSS with understanding of responsive and accessible design principles
• Confident using Git with branching and pull request workflows
• Experience estimating work and delivering against agreed deadlines
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working and active participation in team ceremonies
• Confident use of AI assisted development tools, with the ability to critically assess and validate outputsStrong customer focus, organisation and time management skills.
• A collaborative, self-motivated team player with a passion for quality software delivery

Desirable

• Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
• Knowledge of automated testing practices
• Experience contributing to technical design or architecture discussions
