Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project team comments and resolve any design-related construction queries with the design team.
  • Demonstrate management qualities to encourage effective collaboration between design and construction teams to meet project goals.
  • Understand project requirements, including the client brief, business processes, and employer requirements.
  • Assist in mitigating design risks as part of the team.
  • Participate in design coordination and progress meetings with the design team and sub-contractors, ensuring that design risk assessments are produced.
  • Support the production of the Contractors Proposals.
  • Collaborate with all pertinent stakeholders to formulate and oversee a pragmatic design timeline and information schedule.
  • Champion the implementation of Continuous Improvement strategies and innovation.
  • Verify that designs undergo thorough review and validation to achieve compliance.
  • Mitigate health and safety concerns and address design intricacies.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications in design management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
