Job Description

Encon Staffing are currently recruiting an experienced Demolition Site Manager, our client is entering the next phase of demolition works on a major project in Bishopton, PA7 and are seeking an experienced Demolition Manager to support and help deliver this high-profile project.

This is a fixed-term role of up to six months, starting this month, with responsibility for the day-to-day management of a section of demolition works. You will oversee the safe demolition of concrete structures up to 15 metres in height and lead a site team of approximately 20 operators and operatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of demolition activities on site

  • Planning, sequencing, and supervising demolition works safely and efficiently

  • Managing and coordinating site teams, plant, and resources

  • Producing and implementing demolition method statements and risk assessments

  • Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and site-specific requirements

  • Liaising with project management, site stakeholders, and subcontractors

Essential Requirements

  • CCDO-accredited demolition qualification suitable for managing and supervising demolition works (concrete structures)

  • Valid CCDO Manager or Supervisor card

  • SMSTS

  • Proven experience producing demolition method statements and risk assessments

  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation within demolition

  • Demonstrable experience managing and coordinating site teams

  • Ability to plan and sequence demolition works effectively and safely

Desirable / Additional Skills

  • Temporary Works awareness or Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) experience

  • Ecological awareness, with experience managing ecological constraints on live projects
