Job Description
Encon Staffing are currently recruiting an experienced Demolition Site Manager, our client is entering the next phase of demolition works on a major project in Bishopton, PA7 and are seeking an experienced Demolition Manager to support and help deliver this high-profile project.
This is a fixed-term role of up to six months, starting this month, with responsibility for the day-to-day management of a section of demolition works. You will oversee the safe demolition of concrete structures up to 15 metres in height and lead a site team of approximately 20 operators and operatives.
Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day management of demolition activities on site

Planning, sequencing, and supervising demolition works safely and efficiently

Managing and coordinating site teams, plant, and resources

Producing and implementing demolition method statements and risk assessments

Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and site-specific requirements

Liaising with project management, site stakeholders, and subcontractors
Essential Requirements

CCDO-accredited demolition qualification suitable for managing and supervising demolition works (concrete structures)

Valid CCDO Manager or Supervisor card

SMSTS
-
Proven experience producing demolition method statements and risk assessments

Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation within demolition

Demonstrable experience managing and coordinating site teams

Ability to plan and sequence demolition works effectively and safely
Desirable / Additional Skills

Temporary Works awareness or Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) experience

Ecological awareness, with experience managing ecological constraints on live projects
