Job Description

Overview

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative to join an established distribution business based in Bathgate on a temporary to permanent basis. Our client operates from a busy warehouse facility, supplying products to trade and construction customers across the region.

What’s on offer

  • Confirmed permanent role after 3 months
  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm – with an early Friday finish
  • £12.71 per hour, paid weekly
  • 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Delivering goods to site safely and in a timely manner
  • Planning and organising delivery routes efficiently
  • Order picking, packing and processing goods in and out
  • Completing all necessary delivery paperwork accurately
  • Maintaining the warehouse to a high standard of housekeeping

Qualifications

  • A full UK driving licence held for more than 2 years
  • No more than 6 points on your license and no serious motoring offences
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • A forklift licence is beneficial but not essential
