Role Overview
We are working in partnership with a well-established organisation within a regulated industry to recruit a skilled Maintenance Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of site equipment and infrastructure while maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair equipment faults, coordinating with external contractors when necessary.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance policies and procedures.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance programmes.
- Manage spare parts inventory and conduct Health & Safety assessments.
- Maintain accurate records to support regulatory compliance.
- Review and manage service and maintenance contracts.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure operational standards are met.
- Monitor and control maintenance-related costs.
- Oversee procurement activities and supervise external service providers.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Experience working in a regulated environment.
- HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or relevant time-served apprenticeship in a similar discipline.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with regulatory audits.
- Experience with PLC systems.
- Working knowledge of CMMS platforms.
