We are looking for a Data Privacy Manager to serve as the key contact and advisor on data protection matters, supporting compliance activities, managing risks, maintaining records and policies, handling requests and breaches, and providing training and legal support across the organisation.

- Act as a main point of contact for the business on all data protection matters.
- Provide advice and support to the business and data protection team.
- Support the Data Protection Advisor on data protection activities such as subject access requests and personal data breaches.
- Help maintain data protection records, including data retention.
- Maintenance of data protection policies and procedures to ensure compliance including Records of Data Processing and Data Retention Schedules.
- Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Provide data protection training, when required
- Support the Data Protection Officer on the production of reports to Committees and liaising with the ICO, where required.
- Advise and support on data processing / data sharing agreements
- Support with Environmental Information Regulation requests and provide advice
- Provide support and assistance to the wider legal services team, as and when required.
What you will need
- 3-5 years of experience of working within data protection and in a similar role, with experience in completing data protection impact assessments.
- Hold a Data Protection Practitioner (or similar) qualification
- Knowledge of dealing with Environmental Information Regulations requests would be desirable.
