Job Description

Counterbalance Forklift & Yard Operative – Temporary Role

Location: Airdrie

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

Hours: 7:30am – 5:00pm

Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour – Weekly Pay

Manpower is currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift & Yard Operative on behalf of our client. This is a temporary position with immediate starts available.

The Role

You will be working within a busy builders’ merchant environment, carrying out a variety of warehouse and yard duties, including:

  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
  • Loading and unloading vehicles with timber and other products
  • Moving stock within the warehouse and yard areas
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
  • Supporting general warehouse duties as required
  • Occasionally assisting customers at the trade counter

Requirements

  • Valid external Counterbalance Forklift licence (in-house licences are not accepted)
  • Previous warehouse and Counterbalance FLT experience
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding role
  • Due to the client’s location, own transport is essential
