Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in handling materials and goods efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts and possess a good understanding of warehouse operations.
Duties
– Operate forklifts to load and unload materials
– Handle goods with care to prevent damage
– Utilise warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
– Perform basic equipment repairs and maintenance
– Assist in shipping and receiving tasks
– Conduct heavy lifting when necessary
– Ensure accurate documentation of all handled materials
Experience
– Previous experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse setting
– Proficiency in using forklifts for materials handling
– Familiarity with basic maths for inventory tracking
– Knowledge of mechanical operations for equipment maintenance
– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Please note this is a 4 on 4 off position rotating between day and nightshift.
Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: 12.79- 13.10 per hour
