Job Title: Cost Manager
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: 42,500 – 47,500
Responsibilities of the Cost Manager:
- Working in conjunction with the Commercial Manager to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Providing a detailed cost report for each project
- Assisting in the review of the project scope
- Attending site meetings with on-site contractors
- Assisting in the preparation of documentation for contracts
- Managing project budgets
Requirements of the Cost Manager:
- A RICS-accredited degree in Quantity Surveying is essential
- Must have MRICS in Quantity Surveying
- Pre-and post-contract experience
- Experience with cost planning, value engineering, and preparing tenders
- Tender analysis
- Cost assurance experience for design and build contracts valued between 1m and 20M
- Interface with external consultants as required
On offer for the Cost Manager
- On offer is a basic salary of 42,500 to 47,500
- Hybrid working
