Contracts Manager

First People Solutions is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join a leading Construction and Civil Engineering company. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic company that specializes in delivering high-quality construction and remediation services across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management and delivery of multiple construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly
  • Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, contracts, and financial reports
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management
  • Resolve any disputes or challenges that arise during the project

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role in the Civil Engineering and Construction industry specifically concrete
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, processes, and legislation
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets
  • A proactive and problem-solving approach to project management
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field
