Contentious Construction Lawyer (2+ PQE)

A top-tier, full-service law firm with a growing presence across the UK and internationally is seeking a talented Solicitor or Senior Solicitor to join its dynamic and high-performing Construction & Engineering team.

About the Role:
This role offers exposure to high-value, complex disputes across a wide range of contentious construction matters. You will work alongside recognised partners and industry experts advising public and private sector clients-including developers, contractors, consultants, insurers, and funders-on mediation, adjudication, litigation and arbitration proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse legal positions and provide strategic advice on resolution.

  • Represent clients in mediation, adjudication, litigation and arbitration.

  • Draft pleadings and settlement agreements.

  • Compile and analyse evidence and witness statements.

  • Support marketing initiatives and present at industry seminars.

  • Mentor junior team members and trainees.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 2+ years PQE with goodexperience in contentious construction law

  • Strong drafting and legal analysis skills.

  • Commercially aware, highly organised, and team-oriented.
