Consultant / Project Manager (Heat Networks)
Employment type: Permanent, full-time
Location: Remote, Work from home (Head Office based in Yorkshire)
Hours: 37.5 Monday-Friday
Salary: 40,000- 60,000 p.a. dependent on experience + excellent training and development + flexible working.

We are currently working exclusively with an engineering consultancy with over a decade of experience specialising in the implementation of city-scale low-carbon heat networks and other decentralised energy solutions. They are looking to expand their UK Team to achieve their growth trajectory. In a recent staff survey 98% of our client’s workforce would recommend jobs to others.
Role
The successful Consultant / Project Manager will be involved in some of the most significant heat network projects in the UK and play an active role in the rollout of Heat Network zoning, a crucial element for market development. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive advisory support and managing project delivery. Depending on your experience, you will be involved in various aspects of zoning (including GIS mapping), technical and economic project analysis, design and development, commercialisation, and project implementation.
Experience/ Skills Required
- Educated to degree level within related field
- Excellent knowledge (and related delivery experience) of key subject areas, e.g. heat networks, property energy demand and carbon performance, thermal (heat and cooling) energy generation systems, heating system design.
- Working knowledge of GIS Mapping
- Driving licence
- Flexibility to attend meetings when necessary
