Position: Confined Space Top Man
Location: Glasgow
Start date: 6th October
Duration: 10 weeks
Hours of Work: Mon-Thurs 11 hours/day, Fri 10 hours/day
PAYE Pay Rates:
Mon-Fri, All Hrs: £20.00/hr, Including £2.15/hr Holiday Pay
The Role:
Integrate Engineering Resources is currently recruiting for 2x Confined Space Top Men for a major power station construction project in Glasgow. The role will involve ensuring the safety of confined space entry by performing pre-entry checks, monitoring the work team and their equipment, maintaining communication with entrants, controlling entry and exit, and alerting a rescue team in the event of an emergency. Duties will include:
-Verifying permits and risk assessments
-Ensuring all safety documents are present and accessible.
-Checking atmospheric conditions
-Ensuring adequate safety equipment is present and functional and safety procedures are being adhered to
-Establishing and maintaining effective communication methods with entrants throughout the work period.
– Implementing safety procedures and summoning a rescue team when necessary
Requirements:
-CSCS / CCNSG card
-Confined Space Medium / High Risk certificate
-Previous experience working on large industrial sites
