Conference & Meetings Operations Manager
As a Conference & Meetings Operations Manager, you will oversee the delivery of seamless, high quality events and meetings, ensuring excellent service standards, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction from planning through execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of conference and meeting spaces
- Coordinate event setup, staffing, AV requirements, catering, and logistics
- Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and ensure expectations are met
- Lead, train, and support the events and operations team to deliver 5 star service
- Ensure all spaces are well maintained, presentable, and fully equipped
- Monitor budgets, resource planning, and cost control
- Maintain health & safety, fire regulations, and risk management procedures
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and guest experience
Working pattern: 5 days out of 7
Qualifications
- Proven experience in conference, hospitality, or events operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent planning, organisation, and problem solving abilities
- A customer focused approach with high attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of AV systems and room setup requirements
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment
