An exciting opportunity has arisen for full time Staff Nurses to join the NE District Nursing Service within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, one of the UK’s largest and most innovative healthcare organisations. This is a rewarding community based role where you will deliver high quality, person centred nursing care across a diverse patient population. Working autonomously and as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team, you will support individuals to remain independent within their own homes. Duration, Location and Working Pattern

Full Time, Permanent

Base Location: Bridgeton Health Centre

Shift Pattern: Flexible shifts across Monday to Sunday between 8 am and 8 pm, with participation in a weekend and public holiday rota

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, safe and effective nursing care to patients within the community caseload in partnership with patients, families and carers
• Undertake assessment, planning and implementation of evidence based care programmes tailored to individual patient needs
• Provide skilled clinical interventions, including complex nursing procedures and management of long term conditions
• Work autonomously while supporting the District Nurse and wider team to ensure continuity and quality of care delivery
• Respond effectively to both planned and unscheduled care needs, prioritising urgent patient requirements
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with professional standards, policies and guidelines
• Contribute to team development through mentoring, supervision and participation in audits, training and service improvement activities

Knowledge, Training, Qualifications and Experience Required

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration (Part 1 or equivalent)
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and NMC revalidation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients, carers and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to work independently, manage workload and make sound clinical decisions in a community setting
• Demonstrated leadership, problem solving and teamwork abilities
• Competent IT skills, including use of digital systems for clinical documentation and communication
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the service area
