Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced registered nurse to temporarily join our team as a community staff nurse within the District Nursing Service in the Dunfermline locality for 43 weeks to cover for maternity leave.
Key Responsibilities
Provide community nursing care as part of a 24 hour, 7 day Community Nursing Service.
Work weekends and public holidays, and be willing to work in other areas of NHS Fife if the service warrants it.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Significant nursing experience and demonstrable leadership and communication skills.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Extensive clinical expertise and knowledge.
- Desire to assist the Community Nursing Team in delivering a high quality service.
- Ability to work autonomously within a dynamic environment.
- Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
- Ability to travel across the locality.
- Pro rata salary based on part time hours.
Working Conditions
Coverage of weekends and public holidays, with potential assignment in other NHS Fife locations.
