Your skills could change lives in the heart of the Highlands. We’re inviting an enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our friendly Community Mental Health Team in North & West Sutherland.
This is a role for someone who values connection-someone who wants to work closely with individuals, families and communities to support recovery and wellbeing. You’ll provide assessment, care planning and therapeutic intervention, often acting as a Care Co ordinator to guide people through their mental health journey.
Working across West Sutherland, you’ll use your clinical expertise and compassionate approach to deliver safe, person centred care in homes and community settings. You’ll also be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team while maintaining confidence in autonomous practice.

- Base: Lochinver (travel across West Sutherland required)
- Hours: Open for discussion
- Driving: Full licence essential; pool car may be available
- Registration: NMC Registered Nurse (Mental Health)

This is a permanent full-time post working 36 hours per week as per service requirements.

Additional information for candidates
- Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro rated basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
