Job Summary
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join a precision engineering business based in South Lanarkshire, responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality components.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set, and operate CNC lathes within a precision engineering environment
- Manufacture components to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Carry out routine machine maintenance and tooling changes
- Inspect finished components to ensure accuracy and quality
- Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven experience programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes
- Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Experience working in a precision engineering environment
Desired Experience
- Experience with Fanuc controls
Additional Information
- Dayshift role – 37 hours per week plus overtime available
- Rate of up to 20.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
- Based in South Lanarkshire
