Are you an experienced CNC Miller who would like to travel the world whilst getting paid for it? This could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Contek Recruitment are currently working exclusively with the world s leading on-site machining organization, who have been in operation since 1904. As part of their continued company growth and expansion, they are currently recruiting for multiple CNC Millers to join their extremely busy on-site machining team on projects all around the world.

Their CNC machinists will travel all over the world, in support of all types of global industry. One week you could be working on a naval ship in the Caribbean, the next week you could be working within a steel works in India, there s a lot of variety involved.

You could be working as part of a large team on very big projects or working in a two-man team on a smaller project, the scope can vary dependent on the project. Your engineering knowledge will be tested and expanded in all situations. You must have a thinking outside the box mentality and a can do attitude. We are looking for skilled CNC Millers that have ideally come from an apprentice trained background and trained in the competent programming and running of a range of CNC milling machinery. Candidates must be confident, resourceful, physically fit and have a current, in-date UK passport. You must be willing to travel worldwide at very short notice and in some cases be prepared to stay up to 5 weeks on site before coming back to the UK.

This is a very exciting and challenging and demanding role with excellent earning potential for the right candidate. Most on-site machinists will be earning upwards of £70,000 per year, due to allowances for working on-site and bonuses. The company also offer a company pension scheme and 35 days paid holiday each year.

Here are some examples of some environments and locations that you could be working in:

Steel Mills Kazakhstan, Mexico, Romania, Holland, Belgium

Power stations (steam and gas) Tunisia, Chile, Romania, Italy, Malaysia, Sardinia, Thailand, Greece.

Offshore ships and oil rigs China, Gibraltar, Spain, France.

Requirements:

  • A strong amount of CNC milling experience, with programming experience.
  • Experience working on 3-axis vertical machining centres.
  • The ability and flexibility to work away from home for long periods of time
  • A current and in-date UK passport and driving license.
  • Be physically fit.
  • Commitment to the role.
