Responsibilities:
– Set up and operate CNC milling or turning machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
– Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and instructions to determine machine setup and programming requirements.
– Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
– Program and adjust machine settings to optimize performance and ensure accuracy.
– Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure machines operate at peak efficiency.
– Perform quality control inspections to verify part dimensions and adherence to specifications.
– Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and enhance production efficiency.
– Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, specializing in milling or turning operations.
– Proficiency in operating and programming CNC machines (e.g., Haas, Fanuc, Siemens).
– Strong knowledge of machining techniques, cutting tools, and materials.
– Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
– Experience with CAD/CAM software (preferred but not required).
– Solid understanding of measurement instruments and quality control procedures.
– Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
– Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
