Job Description
- Set up and operate CNC machinery to produce components to precise specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering instructions.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet required standards.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimise machining processes and reduce waste.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery or production processes.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines within the workplace.
The Successful Applicant
A successful CNC Machinist should have:
- Proven experience working with CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong milling experience, or both milling and turning with the ability to programme.
- Strong knowledge of technical drawings and machining processes.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Problem-solving skills to address equipment or production challenges.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
