CNC Machinist – 3 Shift Rotation
Location: Livingston
Shifts: Monday to Friday (Early Finish Every Friday)
Salary: 38,400 rising to 39,200 after probation
We are recruiting an experienced CNC Machinist on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Livingston, operating within the Aerospace and Defense sector. This is a permanent role offering stability and career progression with a globally know company.
Shift Pattern (3-Week Rotation)
Week 1: 6:00am – 2:00pm (12.20pm Friday)
Week 2: 2:00pm – 10:00pm (12.20- 6.40pm Friday)
Week 3: 10:00pm – 6:00am (6.40pm- 1am Friday)
We have opportunities for weekend only working if this is your preference.
Key responsibilities of the role
Setting and operating CNC machines (milling and/or turning)
Loading programs and making tooling offsets
Producing precision components to engineering drawings and specifications
Carrying out quality inspections using measuring equipment
Working to strict quality, safety and compliance standards
Supporting continuous improvement within the machining department
Candidate Requirements
Time-served CNC Machinist OR equivalent HNC qualification in Engineering
Proven experience in a CNC machining environment ideally 2 years minimum
Ability to work a 3-shift rotating pattern
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience with CNC controls such as Fanuc or Heidenahin
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
