Job Description

First Achieve Engineering are seeking 4X CNC Machinists for an innovative company, manufacturing critical precision components in exacting quality standards for the aerospace industry, amongst various other industries. Based out of their East Kilbride facilities.

  • Circa 18 per hour (Day Shift) 24 per hour (Night Shift)
  • 4-Day Working Week with plenty of opportunity for overtime.

Due to company expansion, they are looking for an experienced, time-served or semi-skilled CNC Machinists – 2X CNC Miller 2X CNC Turner, to join the team based in the south side of Glasgow.

The role is Monday – Friday dayshift, with 4-day and 5-day flexible working patterns available to suit There is also rotational nightshift working, if you wish to partake which includes a 33% uplift.

Role Description

  • Produce right first-time components, from customer’s drawings, to required cycle times.
  • Maintain a cost-effective standard of production.
  • Improve production/manufacturing methods.
  • Liaise effectively with other members of the department and company.
  • Comply with Company’s Health & Safety and Environmental requirements.

Essential Experience & Qualities

  • Experience of using Fanuc controls on various machines. (Setting and Operating)
  • Be able to communicate at all levels of the business.
  • Be interested in learning and developing.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 18.00- 24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
