Shift: 08:30am 17:00pm + Overtime OR 18:00pm – 04:30am

Hours: 40 hours per week, full time

Permanent position

£17.00 – £22.00 per hour (Including Shift Allowance)

The Role

The CNC Machinist vacancy is a hands-on CNC role for an experienced machinist who enjoys technical, low-volume/high-value work.

For the role of CNC Machinist, you will:

  • Set and operate CNC machines (milling or turning) including Mazak and Doosan Machines.
  • Work from engineering drawings to tight tolerances
  • Inspect your own work using precision measuring equipment
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and quality standards
  • Work as part of a skilled, supportive shopfloor team

What We re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist/Setter within a precision manufacturing business
  • Experience with Fanuc/Mazatrol/Heidenhain controls
  • Experience machining large components (we have anything up to 7 metres in length x 800mm diameter)
  • Experience working with exotic materials including Inconel or Duplex.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings as well as GD&T symbols.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality
  • A reliable, team-focused approach is required for the CNC Machinist role.
