Hours: 40 hours per week, full time
Permanent position
£17.00 – £22.00 per hour (Including Shift Allowance)

The Role
The CNC Machinist vacancy is a hands-on CNC role for an experienced machinist who enjoys technical, low-volume/high-value work.
For the role of CNC Machinist, you will:
- Set and operate CNC machines (milling or turning) including Mazak and Doosan Machines.
- Work from engineering drawings to tight tolerances
- Inspect your own work using precision measuring equipment
- Contribute to continuous improvement and quality standards
- Work as part of a skilled, supportive shopfloor team

What We re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist/Setter within a precision manufacturing business
- Experience with Fanuc/Mazatrol/Heidenhain controls
- Experience machining large components (we have anything up to 7 metres in length x 800mm diameter)
- Experience working with exotic materials including Inconel or Duplex.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings as well as GD&T symbols.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality
- A reliable, team-focused approach is required for the CNC Machinist role.
