Job Description
Maxwell Consultancy are working with a global engineering business in their search for a Horizontal Borer. This is a full-time, permanent position working in their state of the art workshop in Glasgow. Working a 4 day week (no Fridays).
What’s Required?
- Time served machinist
- Read and interpret schematic engineer drawings
- Able to set and operate Horizontal Borer
- Work to tight tolerances
- Editing programmes where required
- 2/3 Axis programming skills required as a minimum
- De-burr castings after machining
- Quality Inspection of own parts
What to expect?
- Working 4 day week day/night shift
- Shift allowance
- Take home pay of 53K – 57K
