Location: Glasgow
Working Pattern: 3-Shift Rotation (Monday to Friday), 37 Hours per Week
Reporting To: Manufacturing Lead

Key Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate 4-axis horizontal or 5-axis milling machines for high-precision component production.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure product accuracy.
- Monitor and adjust machinery to maintain consistent quality and performance.
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
- Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues to reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in line with company policies and safety regulations.
What You’ll Bring
- Time-served engineering background or relevant technical qualifications in CNC machining.
- Strong experience with 4-axis horizontal or 5-axis milling machines.
- Proven ability to work to tight tolerances and high-quality standards on precision components.
- Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings and using hand tools.
- Demonstrated dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
- Proficiency in CNC programming, setup, and operation.
- Knowledge of machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and the 5S process is an advantage.
