Clinical Support Worker – Ward Care Assistant

Job Description

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Care Assistant to support registered nurses in delivering high-quality patient care. You will perform assigned tasks, assist with nutrition and fluid balance, and work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and comfort.

You will maintain compassionate communication with patients, carers, and staff, and escalate questions to the registered nurse as needed. A strong emphasis on hygiene, order, and safety in ward environments is central to the role.
