You will be working as an integral part of the Senior Management Team and take part in the on call rota.

Fort William, nestling at the foot of Britain’s highest mountain and the ‘outdoor capital of the UK’ offers a superb lifestyle if you enjoy fresh air/outdoor activities. The Belford Hospital is a busy Rural General Hospital in Fort William covering a large geographical area. It has a 24 hour Emergency Department, receiving many casualties from mountain trauma and the large range of outdoor pursuits provided in the area. There is a 17 bed CAU, 2 bed HDU and a 12 bed Rehabilitation ward.

Within this role you will provide professional clinical leadership and develop practices within the Belford Hospital. We are looking to appoint a dynamic and inspiring leader who will lead and manage a diverse and motivated nursing team.

This is a great opportunity to influence and develop services through the redesign of the Belford Hospital and to develop a sustainable model for the future.
