Applications are welcome for the above Fixed Term, full time (40 hours per week) post based in RHCYP Hospital.
This post is for a full time, non-resident Fellow in Spinal Surgery at this nationally designated centre. The post is available from 1st August 2026 onwards for one year. The post is designed for resident doctors in training who have an interest in orthopaedic or neurosurgical and who already have some experience in surgery for paediatric spinal deformity. The post provides training in paediatric and adult spinal deformity surgery ideally suited for resident doctor in training who wish to continue their professional development with a view to taking up a consultant appointment in full time spinal surgery. The surgical activity is based at the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People and the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh with some out-patient activity at Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow.
