Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to work within a commercial office environment in Perth. This is an excellent temporary to permanent opportunity offering regular part-time evening hours and the potential for long term employment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation while working safely and independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out general office cleaning duties
  • Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floor areas
  • Cleaning desks, workstations and touch points
  • Cleaning kitchens, breakout areas and welfare facilities
  • Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
  • Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the site
  • Reporting maintenance issues and health and safety concerns
  • Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Comfortable working as a lone worker
  • Must be willing to act as a key holder and operate alarm systems where required
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual and professional approach
  • Right to work in the UK

Mandatory Requirements

  • Provide valid Right to Work documentation at induction
  • Be comfortable using a telephone based time and attendance system
  • Be able to work independently and responsibly
  • Be willing to act as a key holder
  • Provide valid photographic identification prior to commencing work
