Job Description

Cleaning Operative

Location: Chivas Brothers, Blythswood Square, Glasgow, G2 4AD

Full Time, 35 hours per week. Monday to Thursday 12:00pm – 8:00pm, Friday 08:30am – 2:00pm. £13.75 per hour.

We’re looking for a reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team at Chivas Brothers. You’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors, ensuring high standards are met every day.

What you’ll do

  • Carry out daily cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and washroom cleaning
  • Clean and maintain offices, meeting rooms, and shared spaces
  • Keep cleaning areas and equipment tidy and organised
  • Identify and respond to additional cleaning needs
  • Report any faults, hazards, or issues promptly
  • Support the team and complete tasks as directed

What you’ll bring

  • Previous cleaning experience is desirable
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, organised, and flexible approach
  • Good communication skills
