LOCATION: Glasgow Fort
SHIFT PATTERN: 4 on 4 off, 30 hours per week
PAY RATE: £13.45 per hour
Role Overview:
As a Cleaning Operative with ABM UK, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various client sites to the highest standard. This role demands a keen eye for detail, a commitment to health and safety, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a wider team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and wiping surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize toilets, kitchens, and communal areas, ensuring restocking of consumables.
- Dispose of waste in accordance with recycling and health and safety guidelines.
- Operate cleaning equipment responsibly and maintain them in good working order.
- Report any issues or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cleaning preferred but full training provided.
- Ability to work flexibly across different shifts.
- Good attention to detail and strong work ethic.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently.
- Basic understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Reliable and punctual with strong communication skills.
