Job Description

Cleaner/Laundry – 15 hrs per week – part time permanent at Methilhaven Care Home.

Position Details

• Contract Type: Permanent
• Working Pattern: 15 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (2 weekends on, 2 off)

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain laundry facilities and clean rooms, ensuring a safe, hygienic environment.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain compliance with cleaning standards.
• Support residents and staff by keeping the environment clean throughout the day.

Qualifications & Requirements

• No previous experience required – full on the job training is provided.
• Must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland.
• Will attend an induction training day before starting in post.

• Salary: £25,604.23 pro rata; Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £13.64 per hour plus extra payments for shift and weekend working.
