Job Description

A Housekeeping Team Member is required in St Andrews to maintain cleanliness across a busy property. This full-time role offers £14.04 per hour and involves an 8-week assignment starting ASAP, with possible extension. Working 8:00am to 4:00pm, five days out of seven, weekend work is initially required.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain communal areas, including kitchens, lounges, corridors, stairwells, and other shared spaces.
• Service and prepare bedrooms and bathrooms to a high standard.
• Carry out routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising.
• Report maintenance issues or health and safety concerns promptly.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored correctly.
• Deliver excellent standards of cleanliness and customer service at all times.

Skills & Experience

• Previous housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience is essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and well organised.
• Good communication skills.
• A positive, proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Experience working in hotels, hospitality, or residential settings would be an advantage.
